"Hi, you've reached Star-Lord. I'm probably off saving the universe right now. If it's an emergency, keep trying and I'll get back to you when I'm done rescuing the galaxy and not dying horribly. Otherwise, leave a message and I'll get to it.........when I get to it."

Are you familiar with Caesar Silverberg?

Although I guess what I did as the Star-Lord the first time around was just a glorified extension of being an astronaut, so.
I've been here a month. And much as I wish I could say that that's enough time for me to know everything and come up with a surefire plan to get this show together- it's not. But here's what I know. We're operating on skeleton resources at best, and all my best sources for the kind of things we need are outside of this galaxy, and I have no idea how to safely contact them if they're there or even if they exist here. But I know we are damn well outmatched and outgunned, from what I can tell. I know that meddling with the timeline is a desperate gamble at best, because I've seen it happen, I've been forced to try it, and I know if that's our best play, the situation is beyond dire. We've got a lot of non-combatants caught in the crossfire here with no safe place to keep them. We've got limited teleport capability, because if you can work time you can sure as hell work space, but I'm told trying to get out of the immediate vicinity is an open invitation for genocide of the planet upon arrival. And this place? This place is a glaringly obvious target. We need a lot more than what we've got.
And with all that said- no, I'm not. Should I be?

I also think we have enough people around to make sure nobody has to go out there alone. Just in case. Even if it's Jean.

That actually leads up to my next question. The Transporter sends people home at random which means that we might not even be around for long. A friend told me that she picked up some spacesuits, and I think it'd be good if more people than us could check out the area. Buuuut most people around here don't actually know how to use spacesuits.
[...if you catch his drift here.]

Then she realized she had to send this to a whole bunch of people, so she got lazy, and: )
Hey, I'm going to take up a missionary position in France! See you again in about a month. Hopefully the snow's not all gone by then! Keep an eye on Gamora for me!
